On this page, you’ll find all my best recipes for the Easter lunch table. You’ll discover lots of delicious dishes for the Easter lunch itself, as well as sweet treats you can serve for dessert. I’ve actually made a special category with all my best Easter desserts, so you can easily find the one that suits you best. And of course, no Easter is complete without Easter eggs — you’ll also find several recipes that include them here. Easter Lunch Recipes In many ways, a Danish Easter lunch is similar to a Christmas lunch, but since Easter falls in spring, some seasonal ingredients differ. Still, many of the dishes I serve for Christmas are also perfect for Easter. However, the Easter menu often includes a few more spring-inspired dishes, and you’ll find several of those right here. Some of my favorite Easter lunch recipes include deviled eggs, salmon en croûte, oat and carrot bread, seafood salad, and not least blinis with lumpfish roe. Ideas for Easter Lunch Dishes In this category, I’ve gathered a wide range of Easter lunch dishes to inspire your celebration. Traditionally, you start with a few fish dishes, followed by warm dishes, then cold ones, and finally some cheese and/or something sweet. Of course, you can serve them in any order you like — that’s just the classic way to do it. Most of these dishes can easily be served together, and it’s always nice to enjoy a mix of warm and cold food with rye bread or white bread. No one wants to stress when preparing food for the Easter lunch, so I’ve also added notes where things can be made ahead of time. That way, you can relax and enjoy the day instead of rushing around when the guests arrive.
