Feta cream with crispy potatoes

Feta cream with crispy potatoes – Recipe for feta cream served with crispy potatoes with chilli and honey. This delicious main or side dish is super easy to make and tastes so good. The dish consists of crispy baked potatoes tossed with a chilli, honey and lemon marinade, which is placed on top of the most delicious dip of feta, Greek yoghurt, garlic and honey. In addition, pickled red onions and parsley are added. Super delicious side dish for grilled meat, fresh or vegetables.

The potatoes become so crispy, and here I use a secret little trick. I add baking powder to the water in which the potatoes are boiled, and this makes the potatoes extra crispy when they are baked in the oven.

The feta cream itself can easily be made the day before serving, but the potatoes must be made just before serving. I use this recipe for pickled red onions. Enjoy!

Crispy potatoes

Wash the potatoes well and cut them in half. Put the potatoes in a pan, cover with water and add salt and baking powder.

Boil the potatoes until tender for 15 min.

Turn on the oven at 225 C fan.

Mix the chili paste, honey, olive oil, salt and lemon zest together and fold in the cooked potatoes.

Spread the potatoes out on a baking tray with baking paper and bake the potatoes for approx. 35 minutes or until they are completely golden and crispy.

Feta cream

Blend the ingredients together into a uniform cream.

Spread the feta cream on a plate and spread the potatoes on top. Garnish with pickled red onions and parsley. Serve immediately. Bon appetite!
