Crispy halloumi fritters – a recipe for the most deliciously crispy halloumi fritters served with a sriracha dip.

Cut the halloumi into oblong sticks.

Whisk the eggs in a bowl and mix together the flour, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and pepper in another bowl.

Heat the oil in a large pan or deep pan to about 180 C.

Dip the halloumi sticks into the eggs and then into the flour mixture and fry them in the oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy and golden. Let them drip off on kitchen roll.


Make the dip by putting 1 tbsp. of the sriracha in the bottom of a small bowl and add half the yogurt. Make another layer and mix it so there are small “pockets” of strong chili in the creamy yoghurt.

Serve the crispy halloumi fritters with the dip. Enjoy!
