Whipped butter

Whipped butter – Recipe for delicious and airy whipped butter with few Ingredients. It’s so easy to make whipped butter. Whipped butter consists of only softened butter, which is whipped together with buttermilk and salt until it achieves an airy and glossy consistency, almost like whipped cream. So easy, delightful, and truly decorative with whipped butter. I also have a recipe for whipped browned butter, but that takes a little longer because the butter needs to be melted and browned.

Whipped butter is served with bread at many bakeries and cafes around. Whipped butter tastes wonderful on sourdough bread, but it can also be served with grilled or roasted vegetables, fish, or grilled meat. Enjoy!

Whip the butter until it’s pale and airy. Add buttermilk and salt, then whip again until the butter reaches a whipped cream-like consistency. This takes about 10 minutes.

Transfer the whipped butter to a beautiful glass, a small plate, or a bowl, and serve it. If it’s not served immediately, store it at room temperature. Enjoy!
