Haydari is a Turkish bell pepper cream/dip and it’s scrumptious!
Enjoy Haydari with vegetable sticks, flatbread, tapas or as a spread in a sandwich.
Ingredients
Haydari with bell peppers and feta
2 red bell peppers
3 cloves garlic
250 g feta cheese (I use Puck)
100 g Greek yoghurt
2 tsp. dried or fresh chili
1 handful fresh parsley
Salt, pepper and lime juice to taste
Approach
Haydari with bell peppers and feta
Heat the oven to 200 C convection.
Cut each of the bell peppers into 4 pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Sprinkle a little oil over them and bake the peppers for 15-18 minutes until they’ve browned. Let them cool a bit.
Put the bell peppers and the other ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend it all together into an even and creamy dip. Season with salt, pepper and lime juice. Serve immediately in a bowl or store the dip in the fridge. Enjoy!
