Ingredients

Nuggets

4 chicken breasts

1 tbsp. onion powder

1 tbsp. garlic powder

2 tsp. salt

Pepper

200 ml all-purpose flour

Batter

200 g all-purpose flour

50 g cornstarch

2 tsp. baking powder

200 ml beer

200 ml water

Sweet and sour sauce

100 ml water

2 tbsp. white wine vinegar

2 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. soy sauce

1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

3 tbsp. ketchup

1 tbsp. sriracha

1 tbsp. cornstarch

Frying oil

Approach

Nuggets

Dice the chicken and put the meat in a food processor with the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Blend to a smooth paste. Shape the meat into about 20 nuggets. Dip the nuggets in flour and put them in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Batter

Whisk the ingredients into a thick batter.

Sweet and sour sauce

Put all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook while stirring to a thick sauce. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Heat the oil in a pan.

Dip each nugget in the batter and fry them in the oil (about 4 nuggets) at a time for about 5 minutes. Drain them on kitchen towel and serve them with the sweet and sour sauce. Enjoy!
