Crispy potatoes on yoghurt dip

Crispy Potatoes with Yoghurt Dip – Recipe for the tastiest side dish with yoghurt dip and crispy potatoes. This delicious dish is super easy to make and it tastes so delightful. The dish consists of crispy baked potatoes placed on top of the most delicious dip made from yoghurt, lemon, garlic, onions, parsley, and honey. Additionally, chopped olives and parsley are added. A super delicious accompaniment to grilled meat, fresh greens, or vegetables.

The potatoes become so crispy, and I use a little secret trick here. I actually add baking powder to the water in which the potatoes are boiled, and that makes the potatoes extra crispy when baked in the oven.

The yoghurt dip itself can easily be prepared the day before serving, but the potatoes should be made just before serving. Enjoy!

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them in half. Place the potatoes in a pot, cover with water, and add salt and baking powder. Boil the potatoes until tender for 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 225°C (437°F) on convection mode.

Toss the boiled potatoes in oil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 35 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.

Yoghurt Dip

Mix all the ingredients together to make a dip and adjust the seasoning to taste. Spread the yoghurt dip on a large plate.
