Potato salad with herbs – A recipe for a tangy potato salad with herbs and red onion.

This potato salad is super delicious and easy to make. It goes especially well with meat and fish. The potato salad benefits from being kept in the fridge for at least an hour to draw out the flavors, but it can easily be made the day before serving.

Kartoffelsalat for 4 persons
Preperation 20 min. / Cooking 1 t. / Total + 1 t.

Potato salad with herbs

800 g small potatoes

50 ml olive oil

1 tbsp. red wine vinegar

Salt and pepper

1 tbsp. pesto

1 tbsp. lemon juice

1 bunch chives, finely chopped

1 bunch dill, finely chopped

1 red onion, thinly sliced


Potato salad with herbs

Boil the potatoes until tender in plenty of salted water. Cut the potatoes in half.

Mix the other ingredients for a dressing and toss together with the potatoes. Leave the potato salad to steep for at least 1 hour in the fridge. Serve afterwards. Enjoy!
