Ischoklad (“ice chocolate”) – A recipe for ischoklad, little German Christmas chocolates that melt in your mouth and consist only of chocolate and coconut oil.
These chocolates are divisive – you either love them or loath them. Ischoklad should be stored in a container in the fridge, as they will melt otherwise, because the coconut oil doesn’t solidify completely.
Ingredients
Ischoklad
150 g milk chocolate
150 g dark chocolate, preferably 70 %
85 g coconut oil, neutral taste
Approach
Ischoklad
Put the chocolate and coconut oil in a baine marie and stir until completely melted and thin and shiny. Divide the mixture between little confectionery forms (about 30 candies) and refrigerate until completely set. They can then be stored in an air-tight container for up to 1 month in the fridge. Guten appetit!
