Fudge bars with oatmeal

Fudge bars with oatmeal – A recipe for easy and delicious fudge bars with oatmeal dough. These bars are inspired by Starbucks Oatmeal Fudge bars.

Barer for 8-10 persons
Preperation 30 min. / Cooking 30 min. / Total 1 t.
Ingredients

Oatmeal layer

165 g oatmeal

250 g all-purpose flour

225 g brown sugar

2 tsp. baking powder

2 eggs

200 g butter, melted

1 tsp. vanilla powder

1 little pinch of salt

Fudge layer

1 tin condensed milk

100 g butter

200 g dark chocolate

1 little pinch of salt

Approach

Oatmeal layer

Heat the oven to 175 C Convection.

Stir all the ingredients together into an even mixture. Line a tin about 28 x 28 cm with baking paper and spread half of the mixture in the tin.

Fudge layer

Put the condensed milk, butter, chocolate, and salt in a small saucepan. Melt it while stirring over a low heat. Stir into a glossy and thick mixture. Pour the mixture onto the oatmeal layer in the tin. Cover the fudge layer with the other half of the oatmeal mixture. Bake for 30 min.

Then refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until the cake has set. Cut the fudge bars into squares and serve. Enjoy!
