Crispy chicken with Caesar salad – Recipe for crispy chicken breast breaded in cornflakes and topped with creamy Caesar salad and grated Parmesan. This crispy chicken dish is super easy and absolutely delicious. The dish, a deconstructed Caesar salad, has gone viral on social media—and for good reason, because it tastes amazing.
It consists of a chicken breast that is pounded flat before being breaded in egg, flour, and cornflakes, then fried golden and crispy in oil. The crispy chicken breast is served with creamy Caesar salad on top and finished with freshly grated Parmesan. Super simple and so tasty.
Crispy chicken with Caesar salad is a perfect weeknight dinner when you need something quick. It also works great for the weekend. If you want to make the salad more filling, you can add finely sliced pointed cabbage, diced avocado, and diced cucumber. You can also substitute the crème fraîche in the dressing with Greek yogurt.

Ingredients
Crispy chickenInstructions
Crispy Chicken
Pound the chicken breasts flatter between two sheets of baking paper.
Whisk the eggs in a bowl. Crush the cornflakes into another bowl. In a third bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. First, coat the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the crushed cornflakes.
Add oil to a deep frying pan so the bottom is covered. Heat the pan and fry the chicken for about 3–4 minutes on each side. Place the crispy chicken pieces on a rack or paper towel to absorb excess oil. Sprinkle the chicken with salt.
Caesar Salad
Mix crème fraîche, mustard, garlic, and Parmesan. Season with sugar, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
Slice the romaine lettuce and toss it with the dressing. Serve the crispy chicken topped with Caesar salad and finish with grated Parmesan. Enjoy!
