Pasta with pesto cream and burrata – Recipe for a quick pasta dish with pesto cream with peas and burrata. This delicious pasta dish is a perfect everyday dish. The pasta dish consists of a creamy pesto cream with basil, thawed peas, sour cream, lemon, parmesan, pine nuts, pasta water and salt and pepper. The pesto cream is tossed with cooked pasta and served with burrata. I have used rigatoni pasta here, but you can also serve it with other types of pasta.

I love pasta dishes like this, where you blend a sauce with vegetables and get a delicious and flavorful sauce. The peas make this sauce slightly sweet and it goes perfectly with the basil, parmesan and pine nuts.

Instructions

Cook the pasta in salted water.

Put basil, pine nuts, peas, olive oil, sour cream, grated parmesan, grated lemon zest and pasta water in a blender. Blend into a creamy sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Drain the water from the pasta and toss the pasta with the pesto cream. Serve the pasta with half a burrata on each pasta dish. Sprinkle if necessary with extra lemon zest, olive oil, basil and pepper. Serve immediately. Bon appetite!
