Instructions

Koldskål

Whisk the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla together to make a fluffy eggnog. Add whipping cream and buttermilk until the cold dish is creamy and frothy. Refrigerate the cold dish until serving.

Homemade fluff

Guf is made just before serving. Bring sugar, water and vanilla to a boil in a small saucepan. Add food coloring. Boil the mass until it becomes a syrup at 117 C.

Beat the egg whites stiff. Then pour the sugar syrup into the egg whites in a thin stream while continuing to whip. Beat the mass for approx. 5 minutes or until it becomes tough and shiny. Then there is homemade guf ready for use.

Toasted oatmeal

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and let it bubble up a little. Add the sugar and let it melt together with the butter and stir it well. Add oatmeal and toast them until golden. Pour the toasted oatmeal onto a piece of baking paper and let them cool.

Serve cold dish with guf, toasted oatmeal, strawberries and mint. Serve immediately. Bon appetite!
