Cake with caramelized apples

Cake with caramelized apples – Recipe for moist cake with caramelized Fresh Apples and Drizzled with Buttermilk Glaze. This cake is incredibly delicious and moist. It consists of a moist light cake baked with caramelized apples and cinnamon in the middle. Once the cake is baked, small holes are poked into it, and a buttermilk glaze is poured over.

This cake is perfect to enjoy on its own, but it’s also fantastic when served warm with a scoop of ice cream. It’s the kind of cake that stays moist and delicious for several days, making it great to share with colleagues, take on a picnic, or as part of a larger dessert spread. Instructions

Caramelized Apples

Mix apple cubes with cinnamon, brown sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl.

Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the apple mixture until the sugar caramelizes around the apples.

Cake Batter

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) on convection mode.

Beat the butter and sugar until light and airy. Add one egg at a time. Mix in the all-purpose flour, vanilla sugar, and baking powder, along with the sour cream.

Place half of the batter in a baking dish approximately 22×30 cm (9×12 inches) lined with parchment paper. Spread the caramelized apples on top and then add the remaining batter. Bake the cake for about 35 minutes.

Buttermilk Glaze

Mix the ingredients to form a thin glaze.

Prick small holes in the finished cake using a wooden skewer or fork. Pour the buttermilk glaze over the cake. Serve it warm or let it cool before serving. Enjoy!
