Bircher müesli

Bircher Müesli – Recipe for delicious bircher muesli with rolled oats, cinnamon, milk, grated apple, and apple juice. Bircher muesli originally comes from Switzerland and typically consists of rolled oats, fresh fruit, and milk, mixed together and left in the fridge overnight. Bircher Müesli is a wonderfully tasty breakfast and is quite similar to overnight oats. In this version, I’ve prepared bircher muesli with grated apple, apple juice, lemon juice, cinnamon, vanilla, rolled oats, a pinch of salt, and milk. In the morning, I mix it with skyr or Greek yogurt. You can enjoy it as is, but you can also add toppings like fresh fruit, berries, nuts, or as I’ve done here, drizzled with dulce de leche.

The recipe makes a large portion, but it can easily be refrigerated for a couple of days. You can take a portion in the morning and mix it with your choice of dairy product. Enjoy!
