Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting – Recipe for a moist and delicious chocolate cake baked in a loaf pan, topped with a luscious milk chocolate cream cheese frosting. This cake is incredible! It’s moist and tender in the center with a slightly crispy edge. The chocolate cake is made with espresso and chocolate chips, and it’s baked in a loaf pan greased with butter and sprinkled with sugar. Once baked, the cake is sliced and topped with a delicious cream cheese frosting made with cream cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and melted milk chocolate.
Be careful not to over-whip the frosting, as it can separate quickly. If it seems a bit thin at first, don’t worry; the chocolate will thicken it after a few minutes as it sets with the cold cream cheese and heavy cream.
Also, try my banana bread with walnuts and caramel cream, another tasty treat topped with a creamy frosting. Enjoy!

Ingredients
Chocolate cakeInstructions
Chocolate Cake
Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection).
In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add eggs, neutral oil, and milk. Stir everything well. Fold in the hot coffee to create a thin, smooth batter, and finally, fold in the chocolate.
Grease a loaf pan with butter and sprinkle it all around with sugar. Pour the batter into the pan and bake the cake for 35 minutes. Let the cake cool.
Cream Cheese Frosting
Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a double boiler and let it cool.
Quickly whisk together the cream cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar. While whisking, add the melted and cooled chocolate. Be careful not to over-whip, as the frosting can separate quickly. If it seems too thin at first, don’t worry; the chocolate will thicken it after a few minutes. Place the frosting in a piping bag with a round tip.
Slice the cake and pipe the frosting on each slice. Garnish with grated chocolate. Serve and enjoy!
