Chocolate chip cookies with Nutella

 

It’s World Nutella Day today. Best day ever. I’m celebrating the day with these chewy, crispy and soft chocolate chip cookies with nutella in the middle. Get the recipe here:

Chocolate chip cookies with Nutella

Ingredients

Cookies (about 16 pieces):

100 g butter, soft

100 g of sugar

60 g brown sugar

1 egg

1 egg yolk

200 g wheat flour

2 teaspoon. vanilla sugar

1/2 teaspoon. salt

1 teaspoon. baking powder

3 tablespoon. cocoa powder

50 g milk chocolate, chopped or as “drops”

40 g of milk chocolate, chopped or as “drops” to sprinkle on the cookies

16 teaspoon. nutella

A little sea salt to sprinkle on the finished cookies

 

Approach

Cookies:

Start by putting 16 spoonful nutella on a piece of baking paper and put it in the freezer for approx. 30 minutes. Make the dough by whipping butter, sugar and brown sugar until it becomes creamy. Add the egg and the egg yolk and whip again. Mix flour, vanilla sugar, salt, cocoa powder and baking powder together and whisk it into the dough. Add 50 g of chocolate and let the dough cool for approx. 30 minutes. Turn on the oven at 175 ° C. Form 16 equal large balls of dough. Press the dough balls a little flat and squeeze the dough around the nutella. Sprinkle chocolate drops on each cookie and bake them for approx. 11-12 minutes in the middle of the oven. Sprinkle sea salt on each cookie and serve them while they are still a little warm. Bon appetite!
