Bacontwisters – Recipe for a quick and easy snack with puff pastry, cream cheese, and bacon. These bacontwisters are incredibly quick and easy to make. They consist of a sheet of puff pastry spread with cream cheese, cut into strips, topped with a slice of bacon, and simply twisted. I brush them with egg, though that step is optional.
I used plain cream cheese, but flavored options like garlic and herb cream cheese or spiced cream cheese are also delicious. These bacontwisters are similar to one of the blog’s most popular recipes, puff pastry with asparagus and bacon. Here, I’ve made them without asparagus, so they’re a bit cheaper and can be enjoyed all year round. Enjoy!
