Friday’s hygge – a milkshake with strawberries and raspberries. It’s Friday, which means Friday’s hygge. And today that’s luscious milkshakes with strawberries and raspberries. There is nothing better than toasting the weekend with a lovely creamy milkshake. Especially in this heat. They are the absolutely perfect cool drink. Milkshakes are so easy to make. I actually just used plain cheap vanilla ice cream. You don’t need to use fancy or expensive ice cream when making milkshakes. I also used whole milk, but you can use any kind of milk, including plant-based milk. Use fresh berries for a stronger flavor, but frozen berries can easily be used. The recipe is for 2 large glasses or 4 small glasses. Try these milkshakes with vanilla and chocolate, too. Enjoy and happy Friday!

Defrost the ice cream a little on the kitchen counter, so it’s soft and not too hard. Put the ice cream in a blender together with the milk, raspberries and strawberries. Blend them into an even creamy milkshake. Divide the milkshake between 2 large or 4 small glasses. Garnish with whipped cream and extra berries. Cheers!
