Wrap with Onion and Cheese – Recipe for a gluten-free wrap with onion and shredded mozzarella baked in the oven.
This wrap, also known as an Onion Cheese Wrap, is super easy to make and tastes amazing. The wrap consists of shredded mozzarella, which is spread out in an even square layer on a baking sheet. Then, thinly sliced onions are placed on top of the cheese and sprinkled with spices. Once the wrap is baked, it’s carefully loosened from the baking paper and ready to be rolled up with your favorite filling.
You can fill it with whatever you like best. Here, I’ve filled mine with crème fraîche, spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, avocado, spiced oven-baked chicken

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Sprinkle the cheese evenly into a square shape on the baking sheet. Place the onion slices close together on top of the cheese. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Bake the onion wrap for about 30 minutes, until the cheese is golden all the way through. It’s okay if the edges get a bit dark — you can trim those off later. Let the onion wrap cool slightly, then carefully peel off the parchment paper. Trim the edges if needed.
Flip the wrap so the onions face down against the parchment paper. Add your desired filling and roll up the wrap. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
