The ultimate chocolate muffins with frosting made with my best friend in the kitchen: Kenwood Titanium Chef Patissier XL. This mixer both weighs and warms during your cooking and it makes the baking process so much easier. The EasyWeigh and EasyWarm function allows you to weigh and melt your ingredients directly in the bowl and it reduces the amount of dishes. That’s so cool! I’ve also used the @kenwooddanmark cake decorating set that allows you to decorate beautiful cakes using piping bags and different nozzels. And now to the recipe🍫🧁

Muffins:
2 eggs
185 g plain yoghurt
120 ml vegetable oil
120 ml whole milk
250 g flour
200 g sugar
45 g cocoa powder
1 teasp. baking soda
1 teasp. salt
1 teasp. vanilla sugar
275 g dark chocolate, chopped

Frosting:
150 g dark chocolate, melted
350 g cream cheese, room temp.
180 g butter, room temp.
425 g confectioners’ sugar
50 g cocoa powder
3 tablsp. heavy cream
A pinch of salt

Whisk together the wet ingredients until just combined. Add in all the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Fold in chopped chocolate with K-beater. Pour the batter into 12 muffin liners. Bake at 200 C for approx. 20 min. Cool down.

Melt chocolate with the creaming beater and let it cool. Add cream cheese and whisk with K-beater until no lumps. Add butter, confectioners’ sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream and salt. Whisk until fluffy. Pour frosting into a piping bag with a nozzle and pipe the muffins. Enjoy!
