Pizza Rolls with Cottage Cheese – Recipe for easy and delicious protein-rich pizza rolls with cottage cheese, eggs, cheese, ham, and tomato sauce.
These pizza rolls are so tasty and incredibly easy and quick to make. They are made by blending cottage cheese and eggs into a smooth, thin batter, which is then mixed with wheat flour, salt, baking powder, and oregano. Next, shredded mozzarella, ham strips, and tomato sauce are folded into the dough. The dough is placed on a baking sheet using two wet spoons, making a total of 10 pizza rolls. They are topped with a bit of extra shredded mozzarella before being baked until golden brown.
When the pizza rolls come out of the oven, they will collapse slightly. It’s important to let them cool on a wire rack so they don’t become “wet.” This pizza roll recipe is inspired by the popular cottage cheese pizza, which many of you have been baking. You can add any filling you like to the dough. The tomato sauce I use here is just a store-bought pizza sauce, but you can also make your own.
